Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long is each class?

    • Aerial class is an hour and fifteen minutes long. Land-based, kid’s classes and privates are 1 hour long.

    Do I need to be warmed up before class starts?

    • No. The instructor will lead the class through a warm-up at the start of class.

  • Which class is right for me?

    • Our 101 classes are designed for people who have never done aerial before or are returning after taking time off. All students will need to be signed off on the 101 skills by an instructor to move onto the next level class. Contact us if you have any questions regarding which class is right for you, we are more than happy to answer your questions!

  • What should I wear?

    • For aerial long pants that cover the backs of your knees, a tight shirt or leotard, and hair tied back. For cheer classes, wear shorts or leggings that you can warm up in. We recommend a tight shirt with a sports bra.

  • How long is the class?

    • Each class is an hour and fifteen minutes long unless otherwise specified.

  • Is there anything I need to do before attending my first class?

  • Can anyone attend open gyms?

    • Please note that due to COVID-19 we are not hosting open gyms.

    • All students must get instructor approval to attend open gyms. Students 16yo. and younger must have a parent/guardian stay with them. All students will have to sign and follow open gym rules and regulations. Look at the open gym policy page for more information.

  • Am I strong enough?

    • We have students of all ages, athletic backgrounds, and levels. You don't have to have any experience to do aerial. Strength will come quickly just from attending class.

  • I have aerial experience but am not a regular student at this gym, how do I get permission to attend open gyms?

    • Please note that due to COVID-19 we are not hosting open gyms.

    • Please contact the office. We will either need you to send us a video of you on the apparatus you want to be cleared for and/or set up an assessment with an instructor. You will still be required to sign our open gym policy and waiver.

  • I’m running late to class, can I still participate?

    • Please try to arrive on time! If you are more than 5 minutes late, you won't be allowed to join the class because you would have missed the warm-up. For safety reasons, we can't allow students to go up in the air without warming up. Please also know if you are late, your spot may have been given to the next person on the waitlist who was there at the start of class. You will still be charged for class because you reserved the spot.
